KwaZulu Natal: Mpophomeni Trail Guide (digi guide)

The Mpophomeni Trail is situated in the northern part of the False Bay Park in South Afirca's province KwaZulu Natal. The trail is divided into two routes - the longer section is about 9.5 km and takes three hours to complete, while the shorter section is 6.5 km and takes two hours to complete.
The False Bay Park, which is located along the western shores of Lake St. Lucia, forms a portion of the iSimangaliso Wetlands Park. The park covers approximately 4,000 ha and is composed of a diverse range habitats which include thornveld, open savannah and tracts of sand forest, as well as stretches of pristine shoreline.
Earlier this year, "Wild", Wild Card's free wildlife environment and travel magazine, published a Mpophomeni Trail Guide written by Dr. Francois du Randt. Enjoy & kudos for the trail guide!
