I just found some silent film footage shot in the 1920s about African wildlife on youtube. The film - shot somewhere in East Africa - is eg. including the first ever footage (according to the film) of wild dogs as well as some disturbing pics of hunted & killed lions - titled with "Fallen lords of the jungle - a day's bag". I am not too sure what they did to the gorillas right at the end of the video though... are they dead or simply narcotized?
